About Susan Clemens, MD
Dr. Clemens received her medical degree from Brown University School of Medicine in 1988. She completed a Family Medicine residency at Brown University/ Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island and is board certified in Family Medicine. After 25 years of practice in Ambulatory Care and Urgent Care Medicine, she completed her acupuncture training at the Helm's Medical Institute. Dr. Clemens is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture.
After many years practicing Western Medicine, I am excited to add this complementary medical care to my practice. Acupuncture taps into the body's ability to heal itself and thus can help to reduce or avoid the use of medication. I hope to help my patients achieve balance, healing, and wellness.
